I grew up in the Cold War Era, and Russians, and Communists and Asians were "the other". The other being the thing you Must fear. Now I have friends who are Asian, and one friend from Russia, they a NOT evil, they're just people, just like us. I hope that the "No" is a new beginning for Clinktac, a beginning to see who he is, what his value is. I yearn for him to see his own value.... Or at least make a beginning.

Clinktac definitely has a long road ahead of him, but at least he has the Celestial there, showing him that the Other Side isn't quite as black-and-white as he's been lead to believe. The Celestial has his own challenges to confront; he's just a little more reserved about it :)
In the end, it's two unlikely friends, figuring out a suddenly-uncertain world.
